BioChain USA Affiliate Program: Code of Conduct and Compliance Manual
For: Approved BioChain USA affiliates
Version: 1.1
Effective date: June 8, 2026
Last updated: June 30, 2026
Your playbook for promoting with confidence
Everything in this manual exists for one reason: to let you post, talk, and sell with full confidence that you’re doing it right. Research-chemical marketing has real legal lines, and most affiliate programs in this category either say nothing useful and let you find the lines the hard way, or bury you in fine print and hope for the best. We’d rather just hand you the map. Use the approved language below, lean on the Swipe Copy Library so you’re never starting from a blank page, and you can promote BioChain USA every day without a second thought.
This Code of Conduct operationalizes the Master Affiliate Agreement. If anything in this manual is inconsistent with the Master Affiliate Agreement, the Master Affiliate Agreement controls. Violations of this manual are violations of the Master Affiliate Agreement.
Section A: Five rules to keep you out of trouble
If you remember nothing else, remember these five.
-
Never imply human or animal use. BioChain USA products are research chemicals. They are not drugs, supplements, food, cosmetics, or medical devices. Any post that suggests they are intended for, or can be used in, humans or animals is a violation.
-
One Rx brand mention per post, in a “not the same as” sentence only. You may say “this molecule is also studied as a pharmaceutical formulation under a different brand name” once per post for context. You may not compare, equate, or recommend a research-use product as a substitute for any prescription drug.
-
Disclose the material connection on every post. Every post, story, video, podcast, email, and SMS referencing BioChain USA must include the approved disclosure (Section D). No exceptions.
-
Pre-approval for any custom content. Use the Swipe Copy Library verbatim, or submit your custom draft to
info@biochainusa.comand wait for written approval before posting. -
No coaching of customers. Do not tell anyone how to reconstitute, dose, administer, store for use, or otherwise prepare a BioChain USA product. Refer every such question to the BioChain USA Research-Use Disclaimer page.
Section B: Allowed and prohibited claims
B.1 Words and phrases you may use
- “Research-grade peptide”
- “For laboratory and preclinical research use only”
- “Tested by an independent US laboratory”
- “Certificate of Analysis available per batch”
- “Studied in the published literature as a probe of [receptor / pathway]”
- “Investigated in research models for [mechanism, not outcome]”
- “Discussed in the published literature”
- “Used in published research as a tool compound for [research area]”
B.2 Words and phrases that are an automatic violation
A quick way to think about this list: every word on it is a word that turns a research chemical into, legally speaking, an unapproved drug the moment it’s used in marketing. Avoiding them isn’t about hiding anything, it’s what keeps the “research use only” framing true and keeps your content (and the program) safe. Treat this as a pre-publish checklist, not a minefield.
- “Cure”, “treat”, “treatment”, “treats”, “treated”, “heal”, “healed”, “healing”, “prevent”, “prevents”, “prevention”, “diagnose”, “diagnosis”
- “Therapy”, “therapeutic”, “clinical use”, “clinical application”
- “Safe and effective”, “proven safe”, “proven effective”
- “FDA approved”, “FDA cleared”, “FDA tested”, “regulator approved” (in any framing other than “BioChain USA’s product is NOT FDA approved”)
- “Take”, “ingest”, “inject”, “subcutaneous”, “subq”, “SubQ”, “intramuscular”, “intranasal”, “topical”, “applied”
- “Dose”, “dosage”, “dosing”, “administer”, “administration”, “mg/kg”, “mcg/kg”
- “Before and after”, “results in”, “results from”
- “I took this”, “I used this”, “I tried this”, “I felt”
- “Guaranteed”, “guarantees”, “money-back results”
- “Best”, “most effective”, “superior to”, “better than [drug name]”
- “Anti-aging”, “weight loss”, “fat loss”, “muscle gain”, “performance enhancement”, “libido”, “erection”, “erectile”, “tanning”, “skin lightening”
- “Compounded”, “compound”, “compounding pharmacy” (in any framing that implies preparation for human use)
- “Patient”, “patients” (except in literature-citation context: “in research, patients with X condition were studied”)
- “Doctor recommended”, “doctor approved”, “doctor endorsed”
B.3 What about words like “research”?
You may use “research” freely. “Research subject,” “research model,” “research probe,” “preclinical research,” “in vitro research” are all encouraged. The bright line is between “research” and “use” or “treatment” or “therapy” or “patient care.” Stay on the research side of that line.
B.4 What about brand names of prescription drugs?
You may mention a prescription brand name once per post, in a single sentence of the form:
“This molecule is also produced as a finished pharmaceutical formulation under the brand name [BRAND]. The product BioChain USA sells is research-grade material, not the pharmaceutical product, and is not for human or animal use.”
You may NOT:
- mention the brand name more than once per post
- describe what condition the brand-name product treats
- describe what dosing or administration the brand-name product uses
- imply that the BioChain USA product produces the same effect, can be substituted for, or is equivalent to the brand-name product
- recite clinical trial data from the brand-name product
- show, link to, or repost any image, video, or quote that compares the BioChain USA product to the brand-name product
B.5 What about clinical trial data?
You may link to a peer-reviewed paper or to a regulatory document. You may not describe the trial’s outcomes. Reciting outcome numbers (HbA1c reductions, weight reductions, response rates, etc.) for a research-use page is the FDA’s classic “intended use” trigger and is an automatic violation.
B.6 No personal testimonials, ever
You may not say or imply that you, anyone you know, any pet, any animal, or any human has used a BioChain USA product. Personal testimonials are the single most common reason affiliate programs in this category get hit. There is no “but I’m careful with my words” exception.
Section C: Audience and channel rules
C.1 US audience only
You may only direct your promotion to an audience you reasonably believe is composed of US residents physically present in the United States. Use the US-residents-only disclosure (Section D.1).
C.2 21+ audience only
You may not direct promotion to any audience whose majority you reasonably believe is under 21. Watch out especially for:
- TikTok content that gets pushed to younger users via the algorithm
- Snap content (skip Snap entirely)
- YouTube videos that are flagged as “made for kids” or that include cartoon-style imagery
- Discord servers without 18+ or 21+ verification
- Reddit subreddits with majority-under-21 demographics
C.3 Platforms that prohibit research-chemical promotion
The following platforms have terms of service that prohibit or restrict promotion of “research chemicals,” supplements, or peptides as of the publication date of this Code. Do not promote on these without explicit prior written approval from BioChain USA:
- TikTok (current policy bans most peptide content)
- Meta (Instagram, Facebook): peptide-related promotion is restricted; Meta’s ad policy prohibits research-chemical marketing
- YouTube: organic content is generally permitted with strict compliance; YouTube Ads on peptide content is prohibited
- Snap, Pinterest: heavily restricted for this category
Platforms with relatively permissive organic-content policies as of publication (subject to change at any time):
- X (Twitter)
- Reddit (within compliant subreddits only)
- Telegram (organic only; no paid promotion)
- Personal blogs / newsletters (with consent)
- Podcasts (host-read; not paid ad spots that platform networks may reject)
C.4 State-by-state callouts
These states have aggressive consumer-protection law and elevated enforcement risk. Apply extra care:
- California (CPRA, Prop 65, CLRA, UCL). Be conservative on any claim; California’s UCL allows private suits for any deceptive practice. California requires a “Your Privacy Choices” link on any commercial site you operate. If you reside in California, you cannot participate in the Program at all per Master Agreement Section 3(c).
- New York (GBL §§ 349-350). Treble damages plus attorneys’ fees on consumer deceptive-practice claims. Be conservative on any superlative or comparison.
- Massachusetts (Chapter 93A). Multiple-damages plus fees. Same caution.
- New Jersey (CFA). Treble damages plus fees plus rescission. If you reside in NJ, you cannot participate per Master Agreement Section 3(c).
- Washington. CPA + extra prescription-drug-related restrictions on advertising. Avoid any claim that could be construed as a Rx comparison if your audience includes Washington residents.
- Texas. DTPA private cause of action with treble damages. Be conservative on any claim.
C.5 No paid-search bidding on brand terms
You may not bid on “BioChain,” “BioChain USA,” any BioChain USA product name, or misspellings of any of those, on Google, Bing, Microsoft Ads, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo, TikTok, Meta, X, Reddit, Pinterest, LinkedIn, or any other platform that sells paid placement. This is a per-day liquidated damages clause under the Master Agreement; we will run automated audits.
C.6 No email or SMS marketing without proof of consent
If you send any email or SMS that mentions BioChain USA:
- You must maintain documentation of the recipient’s express written consent
- You must include a working unsubscribe link (email) or STOP/HELP language (SMS)
- You must include your physical postal address (not BioChain USA’s address)
- You must include the material-connection disclosure
- You must honor opt-outs within 10 business days at the absolute longest (immediately is the standard)
Section D: Required disclosures
D.1 Standard material-connection disclosure
Every post, story, video caption, podcast description, email, and SMS must include the following or an equivalent approved by BioChain USA:
#ad. I’m a paid affiliate of BioChain USA, LLC. I earn a commission if you make a purchase using my link or code. BioChain USA products are sold for research use only and are not intended for human or animal use. US residents only.
For platforms with character limits (X, Threads), the minimum acceptable short form is:
#ad I earn commission. Research use only. US only. [link]
D.2 Required short on every video
Every video (YouTube, Reels, Shorts, TikTok organic, podcasts, etc.) must include a spoken disclosure within the first 30 seconds:
“Heads up, this is a paid partnership with BioChain USA. They sell research-grade peptides for laboratory use only, not for human or animal use. US only. I earn a commission if you buy through my link.”
D.3 Required research-use disclaimer language
In addition to the material-connection disclosure, every post must include the research-use disclaimer language:
Research-use only. Not for human or animal consumption, diagnosis, treatment, or cure of any condition. US residents only.
You may not water this down (“for research and stuff,” “lab only,” “you know the deal”) or omit it.
D.4 Affiliate-specific coupon disclosure
When you share one of your coupon codes, the disclosure requirement is the same as for any other affiliate promotion: the D.1 material-connection disclosure is mandatory, and it already covers codes as well as links. Nothing further is required of you.
Beyond that, you are welcome to tell people that the code also comes out of your commission. It is not required, and it never replaces the D.1 disclosure, but affiliates who add it often find it builds trust:
Using my 10%-off code reduces my commission from 30% to 20%. I’m happy to share the discount with you.
Your codes are 5%, 10%, and 15% off, and each one reduces your commission by the same number of points, so adjust the figures to match the code you are sharing.
Section E: Pre-approval workflow
E.1 When pre-approval is required
- Any custom-written copy that is not used verbatim from the Swipe Copy Library
- Any video script
- Any podcast read
- Any email or SMS campaign
- Any landing page or website page you create
- Any paid advertising creative (even if you have approval to run paid ads at all)
E.2 How to submit
Email info@biochainusa.com with:
- Your affiliate ID
- The platform you’ll post to
- The expected reach
- The full text of the copy (or a script for video / audio)
- The image, video, or audio file (or a link to it)
- The intended publish date
- Any third-party content embedded or referenced (e.g., a paper you’re linking)
E.3 Response timeline
We respond within seven (7) business days. We may approve, approve with edits, request changes, or decline. We don’t respond? It’s not approval. Do not publish until you have written approval.
E.4 Recordkeeping
Keep the approval email and a copy of the approved content for four (4) years from the date of publication. This satisfies your archive obligation under Master Agreement Section 11(b) for that piece.
Section F: Operational reporting
F.1 Channel registration
Within seven (7) days of acceptance, send to info@biochainusa.com a complete list of every channel on which you intend to promote, in the form:
Platform | Handle / URL | Estimated reach | Audience description
-----------------+-----------------------------------------+-----------------+------------------------
Instagram | @your.handle | 50,000 | 25-45, US, fitness research
X | @your_handle | 8,500 | 30-60, US, biohacker community
Personal blog | https://yourblog.com | 12k uniques/mo | US-only, peptide research
Update the list within 48 hours of adding any new channel.
F.2 Quarterly recertification
At the end of each quarter (Mar 31, Jun 30, Sep 30, Dec 31), confirm in writing that the channel list on file is complete and accurate.
F.3 Reporting issues
If you become aware of any of the following, report it within 24 hours:
- Someone posing as you or impersonating you online
- Someone using your affiliate code or link without permission
- A regulator inquiry, subpoena, or investigation involving your promotion
- A customer complaint of any kind that mentions you
- Any post by another affiliate that appears to violate this Code
Report to info@biochainusa.com.
Section G: What happens when something goes wrong
G.1 Takedown notice
If we identify content that violates this Code, we send a takedown notice. You have 24 hours to remove or correct the content. Liquidated damages are US$250 per item per day after the deadline.
G.2 Suspension
Material violations result in immediate suspension of your account. Commissions accrued during the suspension period are forfeit pending review.
G.3 Clawback
Past commissions can be clawed back per Master Agreement Section 11 for up to four (4) years from our discovery of the violation. The discovery rule applies; the clawback window runs from when we found out, not when you posted.
G.4 Termination
Repeated or egregious violations result in termination. Termination forfeits all unpaid commissions, any holdback, and may trigger clawback of all paid commissions for the relevant period.
G.5 Regulator inquiry
If a regulator contacts you about BioChain USA, your promotion of BioChain USA, or any related topic, contact info@biochainusa.com immediately and before responding to the regulator. Coordinate the response with BioChain USA at your cost per Master Agreement Section 11(i).
Section H: Examples (good and bad)
H.1 Good: Instagram post
Image: product photography from the Swipe Copy Library, no human or animal in frame, no syringe, no vial in hand.
Caption:
Spotlight on BPC-157, the gastric pentadecapeptide that’s been a workhorse in tissue-repair research for two decades. The published literature describes it as a tool compound in models of GI inflammation, tendon healing, and angiogenesis research. Not a drug. Not for human or animal use. US-only.
#ad. I’m a paid affiliate of BioChain USA, LLC. I earn a commission if you buy through my link or code. Research-use only. Not for human or animal consumption, diagnosis, treatment, or cure of any condition. US residents only.
Link in bio.
H.2 Bad: Instagram post
Caption:
BPC-157 has helped me HEAL my tendon issues in 6 weeks. Best peptide for recovery, period. Use code RECOVERY for 20% off and DM me with dosing questions! Compares to Mounjaro but cheaper 😉
Why this is bad: “helped me HEAL” (testimonial + therapeutic claim), “BEST” (unsubstantiated superlative), “dosing questions” (coaching), brand-name comparison (“Mounjaro but cheaper”), no material-connection disclosure, no research-use disclosure, no US-only language. Six different violations in one caption.
H.3 Good: YouTube short script
[0-3s on screen] PAID PARTNERSHIP, RESEARCH USE ONLY, US ONLY
[0-30s spoken] “Heads up, this is a paid partnership with BioChain USA. They sell research-grade peptides for laboratory use only, not for human or animal use. US only. I earn a commission if you buy through my link.
Today’s spotlight: GHK-Cu. It’s a copper-binding tripeptide that appears in published research as a tool compound for studying angiogenesis, fibroblast biology, and the wound-repair pathway in vitro.
Link in description if you want to read more on BioChain USA’s COA-backed research stock.”
H.4 Bad: YouTube short script
“GHK-Cu is the OG anti-aging peptide. I’ve been using it for 6 months and my skin looks YEARS younger. It works like Botox but injectable and natural. Use code SKINCARE for 20% off!”
Why this is bad: “anti-aging” (forbidden claim), personal use (“I’ve been using”), comparison to a pharmaceutical (“like Botox”), “injectable” (administration framing), no material-connection disclosure, no research-use disclosure, no US-only language. Five violations.
H.5 Good: short on X
Spotlight: GLP-RT3, the triple agonist that’s currently in late-stage drug development as a research tool for metabolic biology. Available from @biochainusa for laboratory research only, not for human or animal use. #ad, affiliate, I earn commission. US only. [link]
H.6 Bad: short on X
GLP-RT3 = Retatrutide. Same molecule, half the price. DM for dosing.
Why this is bad: uses the prohibited word “Retatrutide” (BioChain USA brand rule), implies substitution for the pharmaceutical, “DM for dosing” (coaching), no disclosures.
